1953   Licence agreement for continuous mixing and kneading extruder (Erdmenger patents)
1957   Twin-screw compounder type ZSK
1959   Foundation of Werner & Pfleiderer Corporation, New York (USA)
1986   Werner & Pfleiderer joins the Krupp Group
1992   Foundation of Werner & Pfleiderer Asia in Tokyo (Japan)
2001   Merger with Waeschle and Buss into Coperion
2006   Buss leaves Coperion Group

1935   Rationalisation of small mills
1955   Plastics processing in the plastics industry
1972   Waeschle becomes member of the Georg Fischer Corporation
1984- 1997   Establishment of a sales and service network for Europe, United States and Asia
1998   Integration of the plastics operations of Bühler AG
2001   Merger with Buss and Werner & Pfleiderer into Coperion
2006   Buss leaves Coperion Group

1993 Foundation of Keya Corporation
2003   Sales co-operation with Coperion Group
2004   Integration in Coperion Group
2005   Construction of new machinery manufacturing base in Nanjing

COPERION HARTMANN
1885 General partnership Maschinenfabrik F.A. Hartmann A.G. established
1898   Maschinenfabrik F.A. Hartmann A.G. becomes public limited company
1976   Merger with Wibau Matthias & Co. KG in Gründau to become
Wibau Maschinenfabrik Hartmann AG
1980   Following divestment of Wibau, Hartmann becomes independent limited liability company with the name
Hartmann Fördertechnik GmbH
1988   Under new management, the engineering company continues the tradition of materials handling technology with great success
2005   Company celebrates 120 years of success, new headquarters
2007 Integration into the Coperion Group, name
