Produced at the Coperion site in Nanjing, China, the STS advanced compounder rightly carries the predicate "Engineered in Germany". Because our high quality standards apply worldwide. The STS advanced compounder incorporates the entire Coperion process know-how and the advantages of our international network. Our goal with the STS advanced: to offer the market a twin screw compounder for standard applications at an attractive price-performance ratio. With this in mind we developed the series at the Stuttgart site – formerly Werner & Pfleiderer – according to German design and quality management guidelines. Production takes place in Nanjing, China under compliance with the CE directives. The result: an efficient compounding system with low investment costs which ensures our customers a fast return on investment.
The modular structure of the screw barrels and elements allows process lengths of 24 to 64 D. The STS advanced compounder therefore covers the majority of common standard applications in processing technology. With a total of five different sizes, throughput rates of up to 3,300 kg/h can be achieved depending on the process task.
