With its torque of 18 Nm/cm³ the new twin scew extruder ZSK Mc¹⁸ unites a huge number of superlatives: With a torque increase of 30 % in comparison with its predecessor, the ZSK MEGAcompounder PLUS, the ZSK Mc¹⁸ enters new throughput rate dimensions. It achieves up to 30 % greater throughput rates and therefore ensures you maximum productivity. The optimum price-performance ratio of the extruder, the extremely energy efficient operation, the wide range of applications and the associated great flexibility of the processing system are further advantages of the ZSK Mc¹⁸.

Special features of the ZSK Mc¹⁸

The D_o/D_i of 1.55 has been proven optimally in the past for applications with a high torque requirement and has therefore been retained. For you this means to continue to benefit from a reliable scale-up within the whole Mc¹⁸ series. Scale-up and modernization of the ZSK MEGAcompounder PLUS to the ZSK Mc¹⁸ series will also be possible.

New machine sizes such as the ZSK 82 Mc¹⁸ were integrated into the series for adapting the high performance extruder even better to your throughput requirements.

Together with a number of application-specific solutions such as the Feed Enhancement Technology FET or the ZS-EG side devolatilization, the new ZSK Mc¹⁸ opens up a previously unknown dimension of performance.
