Machine Shop

The Machine Shop produces turned, milled, and ground components mainly for the Assembly shops. These components are required to enable the fitters to build the equipment we manufacture. In addition, we also machine components for the Fabrication shop so that they can fabricate the frames which are the backbone of the equipment.

Fabrication/Plate Shop

Fabrication is the front end of the business from a manufacturing perspective, where most of the parts start their production life. We manufacture Sheet Metal and Plate work components and weld using stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass and copper. We maintain a high level of skilled individuals and continuously improve their skills so we can consistently produce a quality product, maintaining our world class engineering capabilities and reputation.

Engineering

The Engineers hold a key role in the organisation providing the connection between Technical, Sales and Customers. They are the senior technical people within Baker Perkins, with the most process knowledge for any particular range of equipment and are responsible for the suitability of our equipment both from an engineering standpoint and in terms of solutions for our customers.
