Feeding Equipment

For high formulation quality in Wood Plastics Composites, the feeding system must achieve and maintain its required short-term accuracy.  Coperion K-Tron gravimetric feeders feature our patented Smart Force Transducer (SFT) weighing technology and advenced control algorithms for maximum performance and realiability. Coperion K-Tron offers a wide range of feeding equipment: single screw and Bulk Solids Pump feeders for free flowing materials, twin screw feeders for powders, vibratory and smart weigh belt feeders for fibers and friable materials as well as other options.  If space is limited, our K4G continuous blending station allows up to six feeders to be grouped around the process inlet and for a compact feeding system. Coperion K-Tron’s past experience makes designing a solution for your process successful from the start. Our pneumatic conveying and feeding systems can make sure the right recipe of ingredients is delivered to the extruder. We can provide a complete material handling solution to deliver material from silo, bulk bags, or small bag dump stations to your process. Our system capabilities include our Series 2400 for moving your minor ingredients and continuous vacuum or pressure for conveying higher capacity ingredients to your process.
