Stefan Lachenmayer takes over as new Managing Director Recycling

We are pleased to introduce Stefan Lachenmayer as our new Managing Director Recycling. Stefan Lachenmayer brings extensive experience in the plastics and recycling industry. He has been with Coperion since 2007, most recently serving as Director of Sales - Aftermarket Performance Materials. In his new role, Stefan Lachenmayer envisions a future where innovative technologies and efficient process solutions offered by Coperion and Herbold Meckesheim maximize plastic recycling efforts. His goal is to make a significant contribution to waste reduction and the preservation of natural resources through enhanced recycling processes.

Looking back with pride and satisfaction on the successful K 2025 trade show, Stefan Lachenmayer reflects on the impressive progress we have already achieved in plastics recycling. “K show was an outstanding event for us. It provided a great opportunity to showcase our innovative solutions to a broad audience,” says Stefan Lachenmayer.

Particularly noteworthy is the close cooperation between Coperion and Herbold Meckesheim. “It's impressive to see how closely we have grown together. Our partnership allows us to proactively address the challenges facing the industry and develop innovative approaches,” explains Stefan Lachenmayer.

As the new Managing Director, Stefan Lachenmayer is especially proud of his dedicated and talented team. “I have the privilege of leading a committed team that is passionate about recycling. Together, we will set the course for a successful future and further strengthen our position as leading providers of plastics recycling technologies,” he emphasizes.
