Next-Generation Platform delivers Enhanced Performance, Intuitive Operation, and Seamless Plant Integration

Coperion K-Tron Introduces K-Vision-III for Advanced Feeder Line Control and Process Visualization

Niederlenz, Switzerland (September 2026) –  Coperion K-Tron announces the launch of the K-Vision-III, the latest generation of its proven feeder line control and process visualization system. Completely redesigned with a state-of-the-art hardware platform and modern software architecture, the K-Vision-III provides faster and more responsive processing, enhanced connectivity, and an intuitive user experience for optimized feeder line management.

The K-Vision-III allows for centralized monitoring and control of up to 24 individual KCM feeder control modules on a single process line. Operators gain comprehensive visibility into feeder performance, with access to real-time monitoring, trending, configuration, and process adjustment functions through a larger, high-resolution touchscreen interface.

The new platform introduces advanced recipe management capabilities that streamline process setup and operation. Users can easily create and manage material configurations and process recipes while benefiting from functions such as recipe proportioning, staged startup and shutdown sequences, and ingredient priority management. Automated calculations performed by the system ensure precise and predictable process control while reducing operator workload.

Designed for seamless integration into modern manufacturing environments, the K-Vision-III supports Ethernet-based industrial communication protocols, including Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and Profinet. Acting as a single communication gateway for an entire feeder line, the system simplifies connectivity between plant DCS or PLC systems and multiple feeders, reducing integration complexity while improving accessibility to critical process data.

The platform also supports operational reliability through integrated backup and restore functionality for feeder controller parameters. This feature enables rapid reconfiguration or replacement of individual controllers, helping facilities minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.

While incorporating a modernized user interface and expanded functionality, the K-Vision-III retains the familiar navigation structure and workflows of previous K-Vision generations. This approach allows existing users to transition quickly with minimal training while benefiting from enhanced system performance and responsiveness. The platform is available in multiple languages, supporting global manufacturing operations.

"With the K-Vision-III, we continue the tradition of innovation and continuous improvement in feeder controls that has long been a hallmark of Coperion K-Tron," said Jay Daniel, Head of R&D for Feeders and Feeder Systems within Coperion’s Performance Materials Division. "This latest generation provides customers with greater visibility into their processes, easier access to critical production data, and enhanced system integration capabilities. Ultimately, the K-Vision-III helps customers operate more efficiently, make better-informed decisions, and maximize uptime."

The K-Vision-III is ideally suited for process industries requiring precise material handling and feeding operations, delivering a powerful combination of process transparency, operational efficiency, and system connectivity in a single platform.
