In the case of multi ingredient blend formulations, or those with high volume percentages of components, the use of automated filling and dispensing stations direct to IBC’s are utilized. After dispensing each ingredient, the IBC is moved to the next station where the next ingredient or series of ingredients is subsequently dispensed. This allows for proper layering of the ingredients into the IBC but also completely automates the handling and batch weighing, thus minimizing operator interaction and also optimizing batch accuracy.
