The bag dump station is designed for the manual unloading of small bags containing bulk solid materials, offering effective dust control and safety features to prevent hazards. It is available in two configurations-vacuum and pressure styles-each equipped with appropriate discharge flanges to connect seamlessly with conveying systems. Both models include integrated dust extraction hoods with optional dust filters and can be fitted with accessories such as bag compactors. Constructed from stainless steel or FDA epoxy-coated steel, these stations are suitable for handling fine powders, granules, or pellets, and feature factory-wired control panels for easy operation and safety management.

Coperion K-Tron bag dump station

Coperion K-Tron bag dump station with integral dust control

The bag dump station with integral dust control and hopper allow the introduction of dry bulk material, received in bags, to a vacuum or pressure pneumatic conveying system or directly to the process below. The factory-wired control panel has a main disconnect switch, operator push buttons, and a motor starter for the dust extraction fan.  The unit can be fitted with an optional bag compactor with a door switch for compactor lockout. The bag dump station comes with a choice of stainless steel or FDA epoxy-coated carbon steel material contact surfaces. Ideally suited for fine powders, granular or pelletized materials.

Manually unload small bags of bulk solid materials

The Coperion bag dump station is ideal for manually emptying or unloading small bags of bulk solid materials. Integrated bags and bag cages effectively reduce dust and protect against explosions and other hazardous situations.

Coperion bag dump stations are offered in two different configurations, vacuum style and pressure style. The vacuum unit has a discharge flanged to match a Coperion probe box while the pressure unit discharge flange matches a Coperion airlock. Both the vacuum and pressure style units are available with a dust draw off hood that is equipped with a 4” O.D. draw off stub in place of a dust filter.
